Note from the Chef, Kristopher Nelson:
Cooking is best when it is from the soul, from a Chef that cares.
My grandmother and her mother did a lot of cooking. My father also did a lot of cooking. My inspiration comes from my family members. The scents you smell when you walk into the house bring you comfort and come from a place of warmth.
I like to create recipes that replicate these happy times and this amazingness. Everyone knows the smell of their favorite holiday, even if it’s their birthday. I try to replicate that every time I cook.
Pro Tip from Kristopher: Once you make your cannabis butter you can add it to your favorite recipes. Whatever amount your recipe calls for, cut it half with butter and half with cannabutter.
Vegan or Dairy Allergy Tip: You can use vegan butter or coconut oil to make the cannabutter. You can also make canna oil using coconut oil. For true vegans, you can substitute apple sauce for eggs.
Consumption Tip: I would always caution do not overdose yourself. You may not feel it after the first bite, or even within the first hour. Onset consumption may last up to six hours. Consume with caution. For the more experienced infused eater, increase at your own tolerance level. There is a dosing chart on Elevate Holistics https://elevate-holistics.com/ if you have questions.
